Dr. Emily Crane currently practices at Clairmont Nichols Optical. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her Doctorate from the SUNY College of Optometry. She completed a residency in Ocular Disease where she did further training at the SUNY University Eye Center and at Woodhull Health Center. Dr. Crane also specializes in refractions for glasses, contact lens fittings, and any ocular emergencies. Dr. Crane has a working knowledge of Spanish and currently lives in NYC.

Dr. Crane has presented optometric posters at various academic optometry meetings. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in the fall of 2018. She also wrote an article on retinal dystrophies, scheduled to be published in April of 2019.
